Election reporters needed to relay results from the MS elections on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 (primary election).
Duties are very simple, just must arrive at a designated county election office/courthouse by 6:
45PM and report the results as they come in via mobile hotspot or wifi.
NOTE:
All reporters are expected to follow state, county, and local rules regarding entry to public buildings.
It will be the duty of the reporter to be aware of these rules, particularly regarding COVID-19.
Skills Timeliness:
the goal of Decision Desk HQ is to be the first outlet to report results.
Attention to detail:
reporters must be able to enter results accurately.
Requirements Must have at least a smartphone, and preferably either a laptop or tablet available on election night.
Must have or be willing to install the Discord app (https:
//www.
discord.
com) Must be able to arrive at a designated polling place 15 minutes before polls close.
Must pass a skills assessment (delivered by Indeed) Note:
this is for one night only, on August 8th, 2023.
There will be opportunities for work in future elections, including the general in November.
