Our products, services and technologies are making our planet more productive by bringing efficiency and environmental benefits to a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, chemicals, food and beverage, electronics, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, primary metals and many others.   Associate Director of Quality   JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for setting the strategic direction, planning and directing all quality assurance and quality control activities for PG Technologies.  Based in Ellisville, Mississippi, this position will oversee the quality performance for the JV's business units in Indianapolis, IN, Ellisville, MS, and Singapore.   SCOPE:. This position has full responsibility for the results of Joint Venture's quality system, quality improvement efforts and for the effectiveness of its overall integration within the global business units.    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:   oDevelops global strategies for quality system management and quality assurance that reduce product risk, ensure reliability and support customer objectives. o Develops detailed quality system and assurance plans o Leads supplier qualification initiatives and conducts supplier visits for quality assurance and compliance. o Maintains superior understanding of Aviation industry quality management system standards o Participates in project progress meetings, staff meetings, and customer reviews o Contributes to regular performance reports, including non-conformance reporting and action planning. Coordinates specific reviews when issues arise. o Leads the development, resolution and completion of quality-related performance improvement plans. o Audits compliance of PGT quality system manual to customer and corporate quality requirements.     ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: o Responsible for the overall quality, reliability, and efficiency of the quality functional outputs. Develops corrective procedures when necessary and maintains an awareness of research, trends or industry developments that may impact specific area of the business. o Implements strategic direction for global quality initiatives. o Conceives, develops and evaluates plans and criteria for solving a variety of unique and complex problems. o Leads teams in making complex and/or controversial decisions. Empowers others to make decisions. o Defines project scope, objectives and budgets. Organizes, plans and prioritizes project work. o Participates in the development and implementation of new approaches and tools. o Serves as expert resource for quality function and maintains a thorough knowledge of industry best practice. o Initiates the implementation of practices, processes and procedures which enable others to work more effectively. o Evaluates and implements step changes to the work process. o Demonstrates exceptional judgment in coaching others to establish priorities that support business strategy. o Considers global impact of decisions. Works with a global network of contacts. o Makes tough decisions in a timely manner, sometimes without complete information and under tight deadlines and pressure. o Responsible for recruiting, training, salary management and career development of direct reports and team members. o Provides training and coaching as required.   Qualifications   Minimum of 5-10 of experience in aviation industry, preferably in a quality management function BS engineering or technology required, MSpreferred Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) Familiarity with NADCAP and AS9100 quality systems. Specific experience with special processes, heat treatment, or chemical processing preferred.    PST is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. Person under relevant ITAR regulations. 18002803

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
