Embedded Systems Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description Howard Medical, a division of Howard Industries, is looking for a principal design engineer to do board level design andfirmware development of microcontrollers to be used in Howard branded medical products. Initial projects include small footprint, low power boards providing LCD operator interface, biometric authentication,networkcommunications, actuator and sensor interfacing, and motor control. Responsibilities Work within multidisciplinary team to develop design goals Evaluate and choose system components Perform cost analysis and help develop project budget Circuit design, schematic capture, and circuit simulation. Coordinate PC board layout and prototype production. Test and debug of all circuitry. Work with software group to develop firmware. Work with mechanical group to develop packaging. Work with manufacturing to transfer final design into mass production. Skills/Qualifications BS in electrical or computer engineering with 3-5 years experience in embedded systems development 3 yrs experience in digital circuit design 2 yrs experience in design and creation of PLD and FPGA type devices 2 yrs experience doing schematic capture and circuit simulation Experience with embedded systems prototyping, startup, debug, and testing. Experience with high volume manufacturing and production test methods for digital electronic boards. Must have working knowledge of digital circuit testing equipment such as logic analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, and in-circuit emulators.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
